MILDBASS positions itself as innovative in terms of meeting sectoral needs and completely exceeding the state of the art. Currently, the major automobile manufacturers do not have any thermal spray coating application on cast iron brake discs. This technology is commonly used in applications that require high corrosion and abrasion resistance in aerospace, defense, and medicine. In this context, MILDBASS will make it possible to create this coating technology on the brake disc as product and process conditions that are suitable for mass production on an international scale. In addition, there will be an increasing need in the future for coatings in disks made of carbon composite materials and aluminum alloys.
