Regional ESG Research continues at BEIA GMBH with New Collaborations and Focus Areas

Building on previous efforts, BEIA GMBH recently hosted a follow-up session with a visiting researcher from the Institute of Marketing and Sustainable Development at Lodz University of Technology.

In addition to refining survey tools and discussing early findings on ESG reporting behaviours, the session introduced new research on the cultural and gender-related factors influencing sustainability disclosures.

The guest researcher began a month-long internship at BEIA Consult International Vienna to explore these themes, including the integration of social transformation in materiality assessments.

The agenda also included a review of sector-specific challenges in applying the ESRS (EU 2023/2772), highlighting gaps and opportunities for improved reporting. These joint activities further the STAR project’s mission of building a consistent, inclusive, and regionally informed sustainability reporting framework.
