On 18 May 2026, BEIA participated in the Horizon Europe Cluster 3 – Meet & Exchange event, organised by FFG and held in person at Sensengasse 1, 1090 Wien.

The event brought together researchers, security stakeholders, and project developers active in the Civil Security for Society cluster for an open exchange on proposal best practices, evaluation insights, and perspectives from end-users and demand-side actors. Participants had the opportunity to pitch project ideas, discuss common stumbling blocks in Horizon Europe applications, and build new connections within the Austrian and European security research community.

BEIA’s participation reflects our active engagement in Horizon Europe security-related research and our continued effort to explore new collaborative opportunities across the European R&D ecosystem.
